Network Ports
The following table contains a list of default ports and their function in the IQ4docs network.
If there are communication and functional problems with IQ4docs, this may be due to the port being used. This applies particularly in conjunction with firewalls and active switches or routers. In case of malfunctions, please check these settings.
It is recommended that the preset ports not be changed. However, it is possible to modify almost all of the ports in the appropriate places.
The direction for the ports as seen from the IQ4docs server in a single-server installation are indicated by the icons for outgoing and incoming
. If the identification is missing, the port is used within the computer.
The installer tries to reserve important ports with the Windows command netsh. However, there is no guarantee that the ports will actually be reserved (e.g. a port cannot be reserved if it is currently being used by another program). The ports to be reserved are marked in the following list under Res. markiert.
